First of all, we lift our hearts in gratitude and praise to the Lord for His boundless mercy and faithful guidance. Truly, His presence was with our church mission team throughout the journey to Nabawan, Sabah. We experienced His leading and His anointing in such a real and personal way, touching each of our hearts and strengthening us in the ministry we carried out there.
The Undefeated Conference Nabawan 2026 was a truly historic occasion, being the very first program of its kind, and also the inaugural mission outreach of Heritage Evangelical Free Church (HEFC) beyond Peninsular Malaysia. By God’s grace, our mission team was led into the interior of Borneo, specifically to the district of Nabawan, Sabah, where our main focus was ministering to the young people of that region. What made this journey even more meaningful was the full support and partnership of the Church, Petaling Jaya Evangelical Free Church (PJEFC). With the encouragement of the church leadership and the participation of the PJEFC congregation who have joined us on this mission, our eyes and hearts were opened in new ways. We experienced a deeper sense of unity, and the Lord gave us a wider vision for working hand in hand in future evangelistic mission endeavors.
In terms of the community in Nabawan, the majority of the congregation comes from the indigenous people—the Murut and Lundayeh. Though they represent less than 1% of the overall population of Sabah, we were deeply moved to see how precious they are in the eyes of God. It was a humbling reminder that the Lord’s love reaches even the smallest and most overlooked groups, and He has a special plan and purpose for the young generation rising up among them. Truly, we witnessed His heart for the nations reflected in the lives of these people, and we count it a privilege to have shared in His work there.
With the theme ‘Restored & Renewed’, the conference was marked by two powerful plenary sessions—Pastor Daniel Jimmy spoke on Restored: Returning to God, guiding the hearts of young people toward healing and restoration—Pastor Susanna Sindung Lai shared on Renewed: TBC, bringing renewal of soul and faith in the Lord. Alongside these sessions, the revival night service became the central focus of the mission, where many lives were touched—experiencing restoration and renewal in their walk with Christ.
One message from Pastor Daniel Jimmy deeply encouraged us: ‘When you long to be freed from the bondage of sin but try to do it in your own strength, you cannot. You need the strength of God—by confessing, continually turning your face toward His Word, and directing your life’s purpose toward Jesus.”
We truly believe that the Lord’s presence and anointing were poured out during the conference, especially upon the 350 young people, including members from churches across Nabawan, who attended. It was a sacred time where hearts were set free, faith was renewed, and the fire of the Holy Spirit was ignited in this generation.
As a final word of encouragement, we pray that the fire of the Holy Spirit, which has already been kindled in the hearts of the young people in Nabawan, will continue to burn brightly. It is our deepest hope that they will remain steadfast in their faith and keep their passion alive in serving the Lord. At the same time, we believe this revival conference is not the first and last, but rather the beginning of many more opportunities to reach and nurture the next generation through future revival gatherings across Borneo. May this be the spark that ignites a lasting movement of faith and mission among the youth, all for the glory of God.

Kebaktian Kebangunan Rohani (KKR) Undefeated Conference Nabawan 2026
Pertama sekali, syukur, puji Tuhan atas segala kemurahan dan pimpinan Nya, telah menyertai team misi gereja sepanjang trip misi di Nabawan, Sabah. Pimpinan dan urapan Tuhan itu sungguh nyata bagi setiap peribadi kami, khususnya dalam pelayanan kami di Nabawan.
Program KKR Undefeated Conference Nabawan 2026 ini merupakan program yang julung kali diadakan, serta program sulung gereja Heritage Evangelical Free Church (HEFC) dimana team misi telah bergerak keluar daripada Semenanjung Malaysia, ke kawasan pedalaman di tanah Borneo, lebih specific lagi di daerah Nabawan, Sabah, dan fokus utama pelayanan team misi kali ini adalah kepada anak muda yang ada di daerah Nabawan. Tambahan pula, dengan adanya sokongan penuh daripada Badan Pengurusan Gereja Petaling Jaya Evangelical Free Church (PJEFC) serta jemaat gereja PJEFC, yang turut menyertai team misi pada kali ini, ianya telah membuka mata dan hati setiap peribadi kami, serta peluang yang luas bagi kami dapat bekerjasama serta berganding bahu dalam pelayanan misi penginjilan gereja akan datang.
Secara demografi jemaat di daerah Nabawan, majoriti penduduknya merupakan Bumiputera iaitu kaum Murut dan Lundayeh, dengan populasi kurang daripada 1% penduduk secara keseluruhan populasi di Sabah.
Dengan tema konfrensi, ‘Restored & Renewed’, dua sesi plenary telah disampaikan oleh Pastor Daniel Jimmy – Restored : Kembali kepada Tuhan, yang telah memimpin anak-anak muda kepada pemulihan hati, Pastor Susanna Sindung Lai – Renewed : TBC, membawa pembaharuan jiwa dan iman di dalam Tuhan. Disamping itu, ibadah KKR juga menjadi tumpuan utama dalam pelayanan misi ini, dimana ramai jiwa-jiwa telah kembali medapatkan pemulihan dan pembaharuan dalam keimanan mereka di dalam Tuhan. Satu petikan kothbah yang menjadi dorangan yang disampaikan oleh Pastor Daniel Jimmy, berkata – “Ketika kamu mahu dilepaskan daripada ikatan dosa, tapi kamu berusaha dengan kekuatan diri sendiri, kamu tidak mampu, kamu perlu kekuatan daripada Tuhan, dengan cara mengakui dan tetap menghadapkan wajahmu kepada firman Tuhan, tetap mengarahkan tujuan hidupmu kepada Yesus.” – Oleh yang demikian, kami percaya jamahan dan urapan Tuhan telah tercurah dalam beberapa sesi konfrensi ini, khususnya kepada kurang lebih 350 anak-anak muda temasuk jemaat gereja-gereja Daerah Nabawan yang telah hadir di konfrensi tersebut.
Kata-kata akhir, semoga dengan api roh kudus yang sudah dinyalakan di dalam hati anak-anak muda di Nabawan, menjadi harapan besar kami agar anak-anak muda di Nabawan kekal teguh dalam iman mereka kepada Tuhan serta terus menyala-nyala dalam melayani Tuhan. Disamping itu, harapan kami juga agar program ini bukan yang pertama dan terakhir, melainkan permulaan bagi pelayanan penjangkauan jiwa anak muda dalam program-program konfrensi akan datang di tanah Borneo.
