One of the most beautiful assurances God gave our little family of three as we began journeying and growing in faith at PJEFC was the powerful witness of love and inclusion in this community. What truly touched our hearts was not the perfection of the church but its authenticity.
Each Sunday, we see people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities coming together to worship. We’ve seen adults using crutches, teenagers with physical disabilities walking with support, young adults with autism, and elderly members struggling with dementia—yet all faithfully present, week after week. Some of them are not only attending but actively serving in various ministries. That, to us, speaks volumes.
In our past church experiences, we rarely saw such a rich intergenerational and inclusive environment. Here at PJEFC, the young and the old, the able and differently-abled, worship and serve side by side. This reflects the true heart of the Body of Christ—where every person is valued, seen, and given a place to belong and contribute.
It’s in this authenticity, vulnerability, and unity that we’ve found encouragement and confirmation that this is where God wants us to grow. We are deeply thankful for a church that lives out the gospel—not just in words, but in how it embraces every person with dignity and grace.
What a lovely, Christ-centered family we’ve found at PJEFC.
