DOING PARENTING WITH FELLOW PARENTS

By Li Lian

I am truly thankful that the church has been intentional in providing workshops that encourage families through different seasons of life. Parenting can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when we parents juggle our everyday responsibilities with guiding our children in wisdom, patience, and faith.

These workshops have been meaningful and timely reminders that we are not meant to walk this journey alone. I deeply appreciate the opportunity to hear from other parents who are willing to share honestly about their experiences. Listening to their stories, challenges, and small victories brings perspective and reassurance. It creates a safe space for parents to learn from one another, knowing that every family is growing in different ways.

The sessions have also encouraged me to be more intentional in having conversations with my child about faith, values, and trusting God in everyday situations. Even the simple insights shared by other parents can leave a lasting impact and offer practical ways to approach difficult moments with greater patience and grace.

I am grateful that the church continues to create opportunities for parents to grow together and strengthen their families in Christ. Being part of a community that seeks to raise children rooted in faith and love has been both encouraging and assuring.
