By Bikram Lama from Nepali Congregation
The Nepali congregation celebrated Christmas on 25th December at our PJEFC church. Around 70 believers and non-believers gathered to sing Christmas songs, hymns, dance, play games, share life testimonies and special songs, and exchange gifts. We also got the opportunity to preach the gospel. Everyone had a chance to feast on the delicious food and it was such a joy to celebrate Jesus’ birth together.
The most important thing was that we got to share the Gospel and tell the non-Christians why Christians celebrate Christmas. Pastor Indra declared to us from the Bible that Christmas is not about exchanging gifts, wishing “Merry Christmas”, hanging stars, putting up the Christmas trees or even about Santa Claus. Christmas is a Gift that God gives to mankind for free and whoever receives Jesus, whoever accepts this Gift will have eternal life. Thank you, Lord!!
Thanks to everyone who helped in various ways. Special thanks to PJEFC and Board members for supporting, loving and caring us as your own family members.
God bless.
