JOY TO THE CHINESE CONGREGATION, THE LORD IS COME

By Pastor Jeremy Lim from Chinese Congregation

PJEFC Chinese Congregation’s Christmas Sunday Service, themed “The Greatest Gift,” was an uplifting celebration attended by over 100 people. The service began with the singing of classic Christmas songs, immediately filling the air with an atmosphere of celebration and unity.

The children showcased their talent in creativity in the drama, brought joy and laughter, and prompted everyone present to reflect on the greatest gift that we all need. I had the privilege of giving the message on the profound meaning of Christmas, emphasising the ultimate gift of love and salvation found in the person of Jesus. The highlight of the service was witnessing one person accepting Christ, a testament of the grace of God.

During the altar call, many sought prayer and support, and the leaders came up to pray for them, highlighting the church’s commitment to fostering a supportive community. In summary, PJEFC Chinese Congregation Christmas Service beautifully brought out the meaning of Christmas and pointed people to Christ, and we pray that the seeds sown will leave a lasting impact in the hearts of the people.
