Suri* has been working in the hospitality industry for eight years, having left her village in Tamparuli, Sabah in search of a better life. Growing up in church, her career often involved working on weekends. As she served me my cup of latte, I asked, “When was the last time you worshipped at church?”
“God has forgotten me,” was her reply. She pursed her lips as her thoughts drifted to happier days when she worshipped on Sunday mornings.
“Suri, God has not forgotten you. In fact, He is ready and waiting to receive you with open arms,” I shared, “Here’s where you can worship during weekdays at a BM church near your home.” I passed Suri the contact of a local BM church before she went away with a skip. Softly and tenderly, God still remembers and cares for her.

🤝 Come join our weekly service and see for yourself what a BM-speaking church is like. It is our prayer that you can come aboard to help disciple the BM-speaking Christians as well.
🤝 SIB-PJEFC also runs a sports ministry every Wednesday evening to forge a closer fellowship among members. Badminton is a weekly staple, with the flexibility of engaging in other sports as well.
🤝 We are currently shorthanded in terms of greeters, musicians, singers, and A/V.
🙏 We continue to pray that God will supply us with the right people to help establish and grow this fledgling ministry.
