Serving in Alpha has been a big blessing for me. Alpha provides an amazing space where people come together to talk about life, faith, and explore life’s big questions. No pressure – just honest conversations. It’s simple but powerful.
For me, it’s been more than just helping out. I’ve met so many new friends and heard perspectives that really opened my eyes. Every week felt like a reset, a refresher on the basics of my faith that I sometimes took for granted. Serving alongside different generations has inspired me as I saw their dedication. It just felt good to be committed to doing something simple and contributing a small part in God’s kingdom work.
Through Alpha, I’ve realized that we all have different gifts, but we can bring them together for God’s Kingdom.
One of the most meaningful parts was seeing God at work in the hearts and minds of the guests. It reminds me that it’s not about what we do but about staying dependent on God and the Holy Spirit. That’s why we pray faithfully before and during the Alpha sessions. Shout out to our prayer warriors Uncle Robert Mah and Aunty Jenny!
