【CED】 Mission: The Holy Spirit and the Church
This session will consider specific biblical perspectives on the church’s response to the work of God the Holy Spirit. It will explore missional narratives and imperatives from the book of Acts. Discussions and learnings will focus on contemporary commitments and expressions for Spirit-convicted and Spirit-empowered Christian witness.
About the Speaker
Rev. Paul Lau is a priest in the Anglican Diocese of West Malaysia. He teaches at St. Paul’s Theological College Malaysia and his areas of focus include exegesis, Missiology and Johannine studies. His Master of Theology in Biblical Interpretation with Seminari Theoloji Malaysia includes a thesis entitled, “Interpreting Abundant Life in John 10:10 for the Evangelical Church in Social Action.” He is married to his wife of 13 years, Stephanie and both are blessed with three sons.
