CED: An Introduction to Romans

Christian Education & Development

The book of Romans opens up the central truths of the gospel. The letter can be seen as an epic, not just because of its length but because of its breadth and depth. Have you ever wondered about the background of Romans? Who is its original audience? How do we know who wrote it? What is the occasion of the writing? What is its purpose and theology? If yes, then come – this introductory course is for you!

Since 2016, Oliver has been based in Kuala Lumpur. He has served as the Chaplain for Wesley Methodist School KL International for over 3 years, and has been preaching regularly at various churches in the Klang Valley, leading weekly Bible study groups, and speaking periodically at local university fellowships. Currently, Oliver serves with Equip-KVBC via teaching Certificate of Theology courses, overseeing conferences, and coming alongside local churches to encourage them in their pursuit of biblical and theological literacy. He also pastors the English congregation of a Baptist church in KL.

Oliver is married to 1 wife, has 2 boys, and loves the Trinity. In his spare time, he enjoys coffee, watching movies, reading theology, meeting friends, and spending precious time with his family.
