A workshop to learn skills and develop attitudes to help children build resilience.
All of us parents want our children to grow up to become responsible and independent adults and be positive contributors to society. We know they will face tough times in the future – disappointment, failure, loss, illness – or they might be negatively influenced by friends, social media, and people they meet in school, university or at work. Will the values we have worked so hard to instill in our children help them to stand firm, persevere, and bounce back from difficult circumstances?
We have invited Dr Susan Tan, a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, to discuss how we as parents can help our kids and teens develop skills and attitudes to bounce back from adversity now and in the future.
